I've gotten a bunch of errors:

[codeo1b]
2008/02/19 22:17:47.457: [00000039][PostgresConnection (Error)] Unable to execute query: COPY tourney_holdem_hand_summary FROM STDIN;; Reason: Fatal Error (ERROR: duplicate key violates unique constraint "thhs-unique_hand_no" CONTEXT: COPY tourney_holdem_hand_summary, line 1: "359 300 3 4 58 676914525 2006/05/31 05:27:27 2008/02/19 22:17:04 9 2 0 0405.00 0 1521 2 50 19 4 0 0..." )
2008/02/19 22:17:47.466: [00000039][PostgresConnection (Error)] Unable to execute query: COPY tourney_holdem_hand_summary FROM STDIN;; Reason: Fatal Error (ERROR: duplicate key violates unique constraint "thhs-unique_hand_no" CONTEXT: COPY tourney_holdem_hand_summary, line 1: "360 300 3 4 58 676911174 2006/05/31 05:26:13 2008/02/19 22:17:04 9 3 3 2265.00 0 1520 1 10 51 39 16..." )
[/codeo1b]

But most of these hands aren't tournament hands and neither the cach game tab or tournament tab shows these games. The tournament tab only shows 5 tournaments and the only ones from ftp were tournaments that were imported directly from the HH files within PT3. There is 1 tournament that looks like it was imported from before (from 2006) but still missing a bunch of hands.

At first, the first line of the hand history file had the column name (hand_history) as the first line of the file. Do you think that could have caused an issue? I can run it again, but it takes about half an hour for the 90MB file to process.

Copy and paste the first few hands from one of your files here.

It's 1 file and I did earlier. I could post it again, but it somehow feels redundant.

That's the exact start of the file? There's nothing before that? Can you post a full PokerTracker.log file of an import attempt?

As I mentioned before, there was one line prior to the file - the column name, but I have since removed it. Other than that, yes, that was how the file started.

I'm giving it another run of the full file and would be more than happy to upload the file to one of my servers when it's done so you can look through it. It should take about another half an hour. I'm hopeful that it will just somehow "work" this time. If it does, I'm going to conclude that it has to be related somehow to the existance of the hand_history text at the top of the file that for some reason, the poker stars version seemed to not have any issues with whatsoever.

Sorry if I'm asking stupid questions. I'm running on fumes and about to turn in for the night. I would appreciate the hand history file as well as the PokerTracker.log file once you finish again.

Sure, the HH file is 90MB though. Don't fret the questions. I was worried you were thinking I was coming across as uncooperative. :)

From one developer to another, I understand the long hours and time crunch. I'll get it all up tonight and will post the links likely in the morning. My day job is forcing me to retreat to bed soon.

Apparently, something went awry. I waited up for it to run for an hour and a half and it was still plugging away. Sleep became a priority then so decided to just do it in the morning. Well, it was still chugging away this morning and the timer was at 8.5 hours. I couldn't get the stop button to work correctly, so I left it until this evening. I did, however, get the HH file uploaded and that can be found [url=http://snow-blind.net/pt3/ftp_from_pt2.txtl2o]here[/urll2o].

I'll try and get the other stuff uploaded this evening. I appreciate your time with this.

ok, I have all 3 at:
http://www.snow-blind.net/pt3/

I have the HH file, the .log file and a screen shot of what it looked like after I had to stop the import.
