holdem_hand_summary.amt_f_effective_stack bugged?

Postby renskav » Sat Mar 14, 2009 8:17 am

The effective_stack_sizes on f (and probably on t,r aswell) seem to be somewhat bugged.

Sometimes it looks like they dont subtract the amount put in preflop.

For example, player A stack $200, player B stack $300:
Preflop: Player A raises to $20, Player B calls for $20.
Two players to the flop, amt_f_effective_stack should be $180 (right?), but is reported as $200.

Other times it seems to include the SB or BB as "still in the stack".

For example, player A stack $190 with posted SB $10, player B stack $300.
Preflop: Player B raises to $20, player A calls for $10.
Two players to the flop, amt_f_effective_stack should be $180, but is reported as $210.

Other times it seems effective stack sizes are calculated correctly. I can't seem to figure out the specific instances where they are wrong.

Is this a known issue?

I can provide HH's if you are interested.

I hadn't heard of an issue with that specific database entry, if you could attach some hand histories known to have an issue with this field to a support ticket we will look into what cases there are issues in and make sure they get resolved.
