Newbie ?'s

Hey all. I'm a brand new PT user (should have got it years ago.) Anyway I'm alittle overwhelmed right now by all the #'s / stats I'm looking at. My main question pertains to custom hud setup. What stats should I absolutely have and which ones can I get rid off, I'm referring to the list of stats that come up when you click on a player. I play mainly .25 / .50 nl cash, and anywhere from $3 to $20 nl sng.

Also PT doesn't keep track of sng finishes, I have to put them in manually. Have a feeling this isn't the way it should be.

Thank you in advance, and I apoligise if this is posted in the wrong section and / or these questions are way to simple. ( I've tried finding the answers on PT website, and I'm tired. Maybe I'm simple :lol: )

The stats you have in your HUD are a personal choice - it depends what you want to know about your opponents. You can display pretty much whatever you want.

Kraada explains his Advanced HUD Configuration here, but there is a LOT of information in there, so you'd be better to start off with a basic HUD and then build up (or remove) the information as you think about what you want to see.

Tyvm. Very helpful. I know alot of you have been at this for along time, I hope you can see how it can be alittle overwhelming to a newbie.

If you could help me with the sng problem, or point me in a direction I'd be very grateful. And try not to bother you again.

The problem is I have to manually enter the finishes 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc. I find it hard to believe that PT doesn't do that for you. Maybe I'm wrong.
