Fold to Squeeze (x/y)

Postby js2002 » Sat Apr 11, 2009 4:48 am

Hi,

does somebody have this stat? I think it should be a standard stat.
If no one has it, can you build it please?

It is buildable, but the squeeze flags in the database have a few known errors, and given the way they work, I would not recommend using those database flags at this point in time.

Once the error is fixed, I will create stats for them for you.

what is the mechanism for communicating when these are fixed? I have squeeze stats and didn't know there were things wrong with them. Also, where can i find a list of faulty stats? We should all know which stats are no good so we don't rely on them. I use my squeeze stats and would like to be basing my decisions on decent data!

For instance, i discovered that all of the stats for w$SD when bet or raise are bad for all streets. Other than the thread i made, nothing has been communicated.

Any stat fixes will be listed in the release notes, but if you want to be notified about a specific issue please create a Support ticket about it and you will recieve an auto-response when the bug is fixed.

But that doesnt let us know which current stats are no good.
Seems like they should be listed on a web page for us so we dont rely on faulty stats.

few months ago I had the same problems as you with the stat "Raise CBet" and "Raise Bet".
Its very important for us because we RELY on stats and make decissions because of stats.

I know what you mean, and I requested that sort of thing myself in the early alpha-test days, but actually maintaining that sort of list is very difficult; and experience shows that most people don't read sticky topics about things like that anyway.
I realise that this error has been around for a long time, but we do try to get stat errors fixed as soon as possible - I'll bump this to the development team and see if we can try to get it fixed soon.

Bump. Fixed yet? If not, it's been broken for crazily long..... It's a pretty fundamental stat and should be a priority; do you know when it's likely to be fixed?

I just checked and the bug is being worked on; I'm hoping we'll get it fixed before the Build 5 release but it's not yet definite.
