effective allin

Postby preparac » Fri Jan 21, 2011 2:44 pm

I'm sure this has been asked before but I'm not capable to find the thread in the search function ... :

I have a stat that shows me when a player overbets allin on the river

sum(if[lookup_actions_r.action LIKE 'B' AND tourney_holdem_hand_player_statistics.enum_allin = 'R'
AND tourney_holdem_hand_player_detail.val_r_bet_made_pct >= 100, 1, 0])

Now I wonder how to build a stat thats shows me when a player puts his opponents effectively allin by betting more than the ramainig stack of the other player (whitout going allin tecnically)...

thanx

If we have multiple players at the river and bet more than the size of the smallest stack, would that be sufficient for you? If so you'll want to use tourney_holdem_hand_player_detail.amt_r_bet > tourney_holdem_hand_summary.amt_r_effective_stack - that will be true when the size of the river bet is larger than the river effective stack size (which is the size of the smallest remaining stack that reaches the river).
