creating 'colored by' stat, validation failing

First, shouldn't this forum has a sticky that is a link to the stats creation how to / FAQ?

I've been using Kraada's advanced HUD with stat X colored by stat Y for a while now.

I'm trying to create a new colored by stat but validation is being rejected:

"Color condition expressin is NOT valid"

The crux of the issue is that the color condition does not like my new stat: "blind def - raise" (this is a custom stat). When I put any other stat in the color condition, it is accepted but my stat is rejected. Do I need to do some house keeping after adding my new stat?

I see my new stat working in the HUD. The new stat is essentially

(raise vs att) / ((raise vs att) + (call to att))

This does not require any new variables.

What's the exact expression you're trying to add? You shouldn't need to rebuild the cache, though you could try restarting PT3 and see if that helps.

My new stat is called "blind def, raise" (I also tried "blind def - raise"). This displays just fine in my HUD.

I'm trying to colorize "raise vs att " (copied stat "raise vs att, colored") by my new stat. The color expression I am trying to use is

#blind def, raise# < 10

Please make a Backup of just the default optional files (no databases) and attach it to a Support ticket. Include a link to this thread and a brief description of the problem and post the ticket number here and kraada or I will check it out for you.
