Some Rake Stats

Postby T123 » Sun Apr 24, 2011 9:20 am

Hi could i pls check these stats are correct or if theres a better way to express them? Sorry if they're completely wrong i've just crakced them out quickly mid session.

$RAKE/100; (amt_rake / (cnt_hands / 100)
RAKEBACK; (amt_mgr * rakeback%) this is for ipoker
BBRake/100; (amt_mgr / (cnt_hands / 100)

Thanks

If these are correct then i'd like to use them to create 3 further stats which would be;
AmountWon+RakeBack
AmountWon+RakeBack hourly
AmountWon+RakeBack expressed in BB/100

Thanks again

I'm not certain but I don't think iPoker uses the dealt method (MGR) - if you contact your affiliate and find out for certain what iPoker uses for rakeback calculations I'll be happy to help you build those stats properly.

ahh yeah i've just quickly searched and it seems like they're on the contributed method. Thanks

Also they have a no flop no rake policy too... dont know if that will skew anything.

It won't - we use the amount of rake taken out directly to calculate these kinds of things. Is the contribution not weighted though? Some sites use weighted (you get more credit if you put more in the pot) - does iPoker do it that way as well?

That's fine - you can download the stat built in this thread - it adds amt_weighted_contributed_rake - you can then use that to build your rakeback and amount won with rakeback stats accurately.

FYI: there are also a couple of iPoker points stats available for download from the "Get More" section, uploaded by me. Search for "Points iPoker".

So the question then is what does "Average Contributed" mean.

If two people put money in voluntarily and both blinds fold and there's $2 of rake from the pot, do all 4 players get $.50 of credit?

If the button and both blinds voluntarily put money in pre-flop, then on the flop the small blind checks and folds, and there's a final rake of $3, do all 3 players get $1 of credit?

Yes this is exactly what they do including the blinds even when they fold pre. So in both scenarios anyone with a vpip or posting sb and folding is a contributor. Happy for these stats to be added to Get more section once finished. Apologies for confusion/delay in response. I thought that weighted and average were the same thing for some stupid reason!! Also been waiting on a couple of responses to questions I had about this.
