Newb question: Importing w/ stars

[d0nut]

I am traditionally an FTP player, but am making the transition to PokerStars, bear with me!

For PS I noticed that the hand histories have to be requested from the lobby. this the best way to get the HH's? Is there another more on-the-fly way to auto import HH's?

Hand histories can be written automatically by stars, but only for hands that you PLAY - observed hands will not be written as datamining is not allowed there.
