Poker Tracker has always worked for me when playing tournaments although i've never played cash on pokerstars.

Today however, I loaded up pokerstars and it said it needed an update and so I updated and headed into a cash game, remembered I had pokertracker and turned it on. When importing any hand i got the following error:

Code: Select all

2008/09/02 19:33:00: PokerStars: Starting auto-import.

This issue is a result of an update to the PokerStars software today that changed the hand history file format. We are currently working on a patch to import these hand history files ASAP. If you would like to help in the effort, please attach some of the offending hand history files to a support ticket and make sure that the file names are < 20 characters long and the file sizes are < 6M each. We would appreciate the help.

If you are using PT2, check the PT2 forums as I understand a patch is already out.
If you're using PT3, get Beta 17.

If you are using PT3, you need to get the latest version, which is Beta 17.
See this link for instructions:
Download and install PT3.
