hand hisory files...

Postby navtones » Thu May 15, 2008 4:20 pm

i play on full tilt and i use vista. I keep getting a promt that says "please note that u currently have hand history files in your hand history folder." The number is slowing getting higher. My question is, I have the move processed files box clicked and this message keeps coming up. My pt has been working fine for the last 7 or 8 months and i have no clue why this message is coming up. I am retarded when it comes to computers so can u please give me a step by step way to fix this. Thanks

In PTv2 if you have 'move processed files' ticket you have to stop the import and close the window for the hands to be moved. In PT3 you have to stop the auto import for the hands to be moved.

This should move any hand histories of the right type. It won't move Omaha hands in PT v2 because it leaves them there for PTO.

To manually move everything out of your Full Tilt Hand History Folder:

Right click on your desktop, click 'new', 'folder' and type "Hand History Backup" -- this will create a new folder on the desktop.

Click on My Computer --> C: --> Program Files --> Full Tilt --> HandHistory.

Highlight everything in that directory and drag it to the new folder on your desktop.

This will move everything in the hand history folder into the new folder on your desktop.

Hope that helps :)

Thanks for ur help. I just realized i posted this in the hud forum. Sorry. Can post it over there if u want. I have PT2. My prob is that when i first set up my pt i couldnt find a hand historys folder under the program files...ftp...and there was no hand history choice. So then i just had put them in the C\prcessedfiles. It worked fine for months. Now every time i start pt up i have a few more hand history files in my hand history folder. I just tried to find the the hand history folder doing what u said and it is still not there. Plus i did the first step u said and that didnt work either. Please help

In that case, move the files from wherever you had Full Tilt saving them. If FT and PT are both expecting them to go to C:\ProcessedFiles\ that's fine. Just take all of the files from there (wherever FT saves them initially) and move them to some new directory (like the one I directed you to create on the desktop). Then DO NOT tell PT/PAHUD to look at the new directory. You've already imported those hands, you don't need PT or PAHUD to know where they are. Once those files are out of the directories that PT and PAHUD look at, you won't be seeing those error messages anymore.
