Running as an administrator

I think I know my problem

I am using vista, when I right click the poker ace hud shortcut, and click "Run as an administrator", it only opens the poker ace hud. Checking the properties and compatibility, the "Run this program as an administrator" is greyed out and is not checked.

Other programs, I use this same method (i.e. Poker tracker) and when I right click and click "Run as an Administrator", a message pops up prompting me to make sure I want to run it as an adminstrator. The greyed out box under preferences>compatibility>Run as an administrator is checked.

The problem being, in, I cannot run as an administrator

Do you have "User Account Control" disabled? When UAC is disabled, the box will be grayed out with no check mark but you are still running as an administrator.
