I got a new laptop and download pt2 and got registration code last month have played 5k + hands. now i want to load HH from two old computers to the new data base what is the best way to go about this. one of the data bases has 570k hands the other has 430k hands. I started to export hands to file but seems like it will take several hours just to export them. Then to import them 1200 - 1500 at a time will be very time consuming. Also i did a test export of some hands and am getting a lot of errors ie. "unable to get hand history for game #22812" this message repeats for aproxitmatly 10,000 times in 30k hands i tried.

The only way to combine databases is to export them from one and import them into another. Use the File > Auto-Import > Generic Setup window and point PT to the folder where all the files are stored and it will import them all. It's going to take a long time to import 1 million hands, probably 2 days.

If you are getting those errors it means the hands were not found in the hand history database. Either because they are observed hands and you had the option set to not save the text of these hand histories or because you moved your database files from one comp to another at some point and only copied the statistics database file(s) and not the hand history database file.

I just got a laptop also. I bought PT on my old desktop witch i could bearl use PT on. Now i want to use it on this laptop but i downloaded it and it says ''trial''.
how do i get MY PT2 and hud back working?

OK thanks. I recived the reg. code for the hud but my PT2 is still not working with my hud.

What's not working??? I never got a support ticket from you requesting a new PT2 code. Furthermore, I have no record of anyone with the name or email you used for the site having purchased PT2 at all. So click on the FAQ link I gave you above and then click on the link it gives in the FAQ to submit a ticket which includes the new PT2 product ID along with the name/email used to purchase PT2.

so i have to buy the pt2 seprate from the hud??

First of all, PT2 isn't even for sale anymore and hasn't been for some time.

Secondly, why would you think you didn't have to pay for it??? It was pretty obvious in April when you purchased PAHUD that these were 2 different programs as they were 2 completely different sites. We didn't even merge the sites until after this time.

How were you even using PT2 this long without having paying for it in the first place? There is only a 30 day trial and you purchased PAHUD in April. So where did you get a reg code from?

I guess it was just the trial then. but why did i buy the hud if it dont work? im just really confused right now. I have my hud registerd, so what do i have to do to use it??
I thought they had to work togather... So since i have the hud agian can i still see numbers on my tables with out PT2?

Of course you can't use PokerAce without PT2. It needs the PT2 database. And you can't buy PT2 anymore, it hasn't been for sale since May. There is no way you were just using the trial version. It's good for 30 days, it would have run out a long time ago. So somehow you got a reg. code for it but I guess you just don't want to say that since you never bought the program.

I suggest you purchase PT3.
