better feature for more meaninungful EV analysis for MTTs

so the way it sounds there isnt really any good way to messure "luck/unluck" in MTTs, at least not with PT4. i think it would also be interesting to have a feature that somehow displays how you ran in big pots compared to how you ran in smaller, less important pots.

i mean what if you run good early on but lose all the crucial pots, your graph would probably still look like you've been getting your fair share in terms of equity, despite the fact that you're down a lot in $.

sorry i dont know any better way how to express this but i feel it would be great to have a better feature that tells the MTT players how much luck/unluck was involved. id love to know how my top range has played in all-ins deep in tournaments when pots were really crucial, compared to how it did in earlier stages.

That kind of analysis won't help your game - concentrate on the decisions you make rather than what happened afterwards, which you have no control over.

i know i dont have to know how i've been running in order to work on my game and in order to make good decissions. noone does but how is this a reason not to implement a better feature into PT4 that tells you how much luck was involved over a bigger stretch. there are a whole lot of features in PT4 that from this regard, are totally useless.

it can also help you to know how lucky/unlucky u've been because in times when you've ran below EV a lot, you know your decission making wasn't wrong or on the other side, when you've been winning a lot, you know that a lot of luck was involved and that you should actually work on your game. yes, none of that is a reason to ever stop working on your game but we're all human and from a psychological point of view its useful. isnt that the reason people look at these? also i think getting a better understanding of (MTT) variance is helpfull.

the feature offered by PT4 to do that in MTTs is completely useless. if you think its best to just ignore it and instead just work on your game, why have you even implemented it in first place?

If you can tell us exactly what it is that you want to see we will pass your request on to the development team, but "luck" is an extremely hard thing to pin down, especially in MTTs where the circumstances change so much in different stages of the tournament.
