Row color expression with LIKE operator

I have a valid column and stat that display ranges as strings

I've tried to highlight the rows in the reports but I cannot use the operator LIKE, is there any other way to do it?

if(#EP RFI (size + range)# LIKE '%AA%',rgb(225,255,255),rgb(0,0,0))

This end up with an error

[Flag_Hippo]

I don't see another way to tackle that I'm afraid.
