Looking for some stats for 3bet pots

Hi team,

I am currently building my first HUD and I have arranged it into single raised pots and 3bet pots. However, there are some stats I need that are available only for single raised pots:

Fold to T/R PROBE
Fold to F/T/R FLOAT BET
Fold to F/T/R CHECK RAISE
CHECK RAISE F/T/R

I would love to have these also in the 3BET pots section. Are they available anywhere? Or do I need to create them myself, and if so - how do I do that, and where can I post the results to ensure they are correct?

One last thing - I had to search the forums to find a clear definition of "Float Flop" - which I now understand to mean 'bet the flop when the OOP preflop raiser checks to you. Is that correct? It's a little confusing because the corresponding stat is called "Fold to Flop Float Bet", and as I'm sure you know 'float' usually means call with the intention of taking the pot away on a later street It would be much clearer to new users if the name of the stat was updated to: "Float Bet Flop".

Also, it does not appear to be possible to specify that the "FLOAT FLOP" stat apply to non-3Bet+ pots, although this option is available for FLOAT TURN and FLOAT RIVER. Is there a reason for this, and is it possible to get/create the FLOAT FLOP in non3Bet+ pots?

For built-in statistics unless specified as 'in 3Bet Pot', 'in 3Bet+ Pot' or 'in non-3Bet+ Pot' the statistics count all pots apart from flop float/vs flop float statistics which are for single raised pots only.

There may be similar stats if you search this forum or the Download Warehouse. You can also do that with custom statistics - this guide covers the basics on custom statistics creation and this guide goes into more detail. The latter was written for PokerTracker 3 but the techniques all apply to PokerTracker 4, the interface is just slightly different. If you want to verify a custom statistic you create or need assistance then just let us know here.

Yes. You can also view descriptions and formulas for all the statistics via 'Configure -> Statistics in PokerTracker 4' and when a statistic is selected you can view a description and formula for it on the 'Details' tab.

If you want to to do this you can duplicate the existing statistic in PokerTracker 4 and rename it.

As I mentioned above 'Float Flop' already only counts single raised pots.

Great, thanks for the help. So - I will try and write some custom stats in order to create the output that I need. I have not done this before and I have only had a cursory look at how the stats are written and operate. Can someone please verify whether or not these look correct? I am trying to create stats for 3bet pots for the following actions:

Fold to T/R PROBE
Fold to F/T/R FLOAT BET
Fold to F/T/R CHECK RAISE
CHECK RAISE F/T/R

I have written out the existing stats that come with the software and are for single raised pots, with my suggestions below each one for 3bet pots:

(cnt_f_float_def_opp_action_fold_3bet_pot / cnt_f_float_def_opp_3bet_pot) * 100

You are missing the creation of the expressions within those custom columns which determines what is counted. All the names you have suggested are fine since they describe what you want them to count but they can literally be called anything since the names of the columns have nothing to do with how the columns themselves are calculated. For example go to 'Configure -> Statistics -> Columns' and look at the existing cnt_f_float_def_opp_action_fold column. Here in the 'Expression' field is the code that determines what the column is counting:

If you were to duplicate this column and rename it as you suggested without changing any of the code in the expression it's not going to calculate anything differently. Also as I mentioned to you in my first reply you may find that some of these statistics already exist - for example there is a 'Fold to Flop Float Bet in 3Bet Pot' custom statistic in the Download Warehouse.
